This morning the news came out that the name of the new automotive TV show starring Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson, and James May, all formerly of Top Gear, has been finalized. And that name is The Grand Tour. Ironically it’s abbreviation is the inverse of TopGear’s. It’s unknown whether that was on purpose or just coincidental.

Richard Hammond’s tweet gives some clues towards what the format of Amazon Prime’s new automotive show will be.
