Preview of the March Forza 4 DLC

By  March 4, 2012

I was lucky enough to score an advanced code for the next Forza 4 car pack on the Forza forums! This won’t be a preview for much longer, as the March DLC (downloadable content) goes live on Tuesday. But I thought I’d share a little sneak peak at some of the cars you’ll have the pleasure of driving virtually, assuming you own an Xbox 360 and Forza 4 game.

I was pretty psyched, to say the least, when I saw that the Ultima GTR was being added, as I had seen one just last year at the duPont REGISTRY Cars & Coffee event and have always been curious about them. I can remember seeing this car in magazines back in the ’90s and being blown away with how futuristic it looked back then. Today, it’s more in appearance to an old LeMans prototype, except that you can drive it on the street, if you have the funds for one, oh and you also have to build it. It’s a kit car. One of the most awesome kit cars of all time.

I haven’t really done much testing of how well the cars run just yet. Mostly just a lot of messing around. Like, here the new Chevy Nova is receiving its first burnout. I usually like to run the new cars with my friends, so I’ll wait until Tuesday for the more serious shakedowns.

Another car that I was lucky to see just last year at another C&C event was one of these, the Alfa GTV6.

A lot of people, kids most likely, like to complain on the forums about the cars that are added in these packs. I love weird additions like this, the Ford Country Squire, seen here being drifted and performing a burnout on Fujimi Kaido, thanks to it’s Cobra engine swap. I bet Clark Griswold would love it.

This is the new Aston Martin Zagato, an Aston that to me looks more like a Ferrari than an Aston, and that’s not a bad thing.

Many virtual tires gave their treadlives in the making of this blog post.

It’s got such a sleek shape once you remove the splitter and the wing.

Last but not least is the “unsafe at any speed” Chevrolet Corvair Monza, a car that I hope will shake up the muscle car leaderboards with it’s unusual, for the time, rear engine.

This is just a sample of some of the cars you’ll be able to enjoy on Tuesday. I hope you’ve enjoyed this quick little preview. See you on the virtual track!
